Remember this box/tutorial?
Apparently someone somewhere saw it and I was asked to write a tutorial for Splitcoast Stampers for their Holiday Tutorial Blitz! The tutorial went live today! Here's a link to it: Flip Top Box
I altered the dimensions a tiny bit so that ATC-sized cards will fit in it. Beate Johns (who writes many, many tutorials and is the coordinator for things like this) made the video (I have no camera and no desire to do that - yet). Here's the new one that I made for the tutorial:
In other news, I made a card for yesterday's Free For All challenge, which was to use a bee image or the colors yellow and black. I opted for the bee:
Stamps: Whippersnapper Queen Bee, Studio G sentiment; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Paper: Stampin'Up! Autumn Vine; Accessories/tools: Hoyle mini playing card, dewdrops, Stampin'Up! designer label punch, Bic MarkIt and Sakura Stardust pens, Sharpie metallic marker
In still other news, here's one of the reasons I haven't been blogging much lately:
This little man and his mama have been staying with us for about a month, and are (thankfully) still with us! I'm having so much fun being a grandma and all that I don't have a lot of time for much else! He's the youngest of my seven grandkids, but the others live across the country, so he's the only one I can currently love on...
In fact - I've got to go play with him RIGHT NOW! See y'all later!
