What's New?

I'm baa-ack!  Did you miss me?  It seems like I was gone WAAAAAAY longer than eight days!  I'm glad I went, but I'm GLAD I'm home!  I missed my first Monday Muse yesterday, so we'll have two posts today!  Look for the second one later today (or possibly not until this evening...)  Also, I still haven't heard from some of our blog candy winners, so please check this post to see if you're one of them, and send me an email (the email link is at the top of the left column).  Those I have heard from - your candy will go postal tomorrow morning...

Okay, now that "busy-ness" is out of the way, let's get down to "business"!  Here's my contribution for the first Monday Muse:

   

This card has one of my favorite quotes on it.  It's from Marcel Proust, and says, "The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes".  The challenge to you is to come up with something - card, journal, altered item, whatever - with a "new" theme:  new baby, new home, new job, new attitude, etc.  I don't care WHAT is new, just that it is, in fact, NEW!

You've all been very shy about sharing and linking up here and all, so I'm going to plead with you  - again!  If you decide to play along, please, please add a comment to this post with a link to your creation!  You don't want to make me cry, do you?  It's like inviting everyone to a party, and then nobody shows up...  :(  Don't make me play all by myself, k?
