It's very hard for me to figure out how to describe and/or explain myself.

I grew up in a very stable, secure home - so much so that most people don't believe me when I tell them about it - it was truly idyllic. I've come to appreciate how rare my experience was.

I've been married twice, so my children (all six of them) did not have the same experience (although that was my plan when I started the project).

My first marriage was a great learning and I am grateful for it.

My current marriage allows me to put what I learned into practice, and added another daughter to the mix (I don't care for the prefix step-).

I'm a grandmother now, although I don't feel like one (or act much like one, either, I'm told...)

I'm blissfully happy most of the time, but still haven't figured out what I should be when I grow up!
